How do I go about booking a flight to Malaga?
On the main home page of the site you will see an orange-coloured box on the left-hand side, headed ‘Search cheap flights’ against a red background. In this box, you first need to select your route. If you start with the ‘going to’ field and select ‘Malaga (AGP)’, you will immediately narrow down the options in the ‘departing from’ field to the available options and so just need to choose between Exeter and Southampton. In this same box, you then simply need to select your outbound and return dates from the drop-down lists, indicate the number of passengers and choose the fare type. Click then on the red ‘Search’ button.
On the screen which will then appear, you will see results for outbound and return flights which span three days, with your selected date in the centre. The flight time will be shown and you can either choose the displayed flights or use the ‘Prev 3 Days’ or ‘Next 3 Days’ buttons to look for other options. Alternatively, you can click on the link to the ‘online timetable’ which will appear underneath the dates where no flights are available. This will open up a new window where you can check flight availability for any selected period.
When you select a flight from the results display page, you will see that the running total for your fare is updated on the left. If you are happy with your choice, then just click on the red button marked ‘continue’ which you will find towards the foot of the page.
The following page will show your flight details and the total price and also gives previous customers the opportunity to log in using their e-mail address and password. If you are not a returning customer, then fill in the passenger details, check the box to indicate that you wish to purchase travel insurance if appropriate, and select the number of bags that you will be taking towards the bottom of the screen and click ‘Continue’.
On the next screen, you will be given the option, for a small charge, to choose where you sit, as well as to include car hire in your booking. If you wish to do neither, then simply click once again on ‘Continue’.
The final booking screen will ask you to complete your contact details, give you the option to create an account so that the system will input your details automatically for any future transactions, and then fill in your payment details. All that remains then is to check the box to confirm that you accept Flybe’s general conditions of carriage and fare rules, indicate whether you wish to be contacted in future concerning company information and offers, and click ‘Purchase’ to complete your booking.
